:: Dreamy Effects (Adobe Photoshop) ::
I did not really know how to name this effect, maybe it should be ethereal or something, but I really don't know. Anyway, it does brighten up almost any photo and do use this short and simple method to brighten up your day! Enjoy!

:: Step 1: Preparing the Background ::
Open the photograph you want to add the effect to, I used one from Asian Fanatics

:: Step 2: Blurring the Photograph::
Now duplicate the photograph on a new layer by pressing Ctrl+J. Then, set the blending mode, which is in the layers palette (click F7 if you can't see it) to overlay. Now, blur the duplicate (Filter>Blur>Guassian Blur). Adjust the slider until it looks right and click ok. And Ta-da, it's done!
